Vestibular Physiotherapy

The Vestibular System
Semicircular canals and otolith organs

The vestibular system is located within the inner ear. It is made up of sensory organs that transmit information regarding the movement of our head to our brain. The vestibular system allows us to maintain movement by walking, running, balancing, preventing falls, and maintaining our vision. Vertigo is a common symptom of conditions that affect the vestibular system. At some time in their life vertigo is likely to affect most adults.

At Advance Therapy Solutions our physiotherapist is trained to assess and manage various vestibular conditions.
